What’s new in version 2.7?

Version 2.7 introduces an improved governor response, especially at very low RPM. The governor now behaves in a more linear, smooth, and predictable way across the entire RPM range.

We have also changed the default P and I settings of the governor. The new values provide a better starting point for the updated governor behavior.

Important: Updating to v2.7 does not change any of your existing settings. Only the default and recommended P and I values have been changed.

After updating to v2.7, the pilot can decide whether to keep their current governor settings or take the opportunity to test the new recommended P and I values. There is no need to change them if the current settings work well for your model.

Controllers sold as v2.7 are supplied with the new P and I values as the default settings.
